System Requirements

We are serious about experience.

Browser

We recommend the use of Chrome for best experience with Berst.io but there are no restrictions to the browser you use.

Power Settings (Laptop Only)

If you are working from a Laptop on battery mode your performance settings may significantly impact your call experience.
On Mac you should Switch off Low Power mode
On Windows you should set your battery performance to Best Performance on battery

Bandwidth

Participants require a 4Mbps up and 4Mbps down for best performance.

Microphone and Webcam

You must enable access to your microphone and webcam to your browser.

Sharing Screen

On a Mac you may need to enable screen recording in your operating system to allow screen sharing.

Network

Berst.io runs on the Jitsi as a Service (JaaS) platform and requires access to specific ports to work.
At a minimum the following requirements must be met and may require your company's IT department to allow access to the following
- Open TCP port 443
- Open UDP Port 10000
- Whitelist the domain berst.io, 8x8.com, 8x8.vc, jitsi.net

If you cannot connect to our platform, try to disconnect from any corporate VPN or network you may be behind‍
‍Some firewall/proxy rules only allow for SSL traffic over port 443.‍You will need to make sure that non-web traffic can also pass over this port.‍
